Welcome to a centering and grounding meditation.
Relax
Before we begin, let us take a moment to clear our minds. Take a deep breath. Breathe out slowly, releasing stress and anxiety from the day. Take another deep breath. On the exhale, feel your body begin to relax. Inhale one last time, breathing in a little deeper. Exhale slowly.
I hope that you are more at ease. We will now begin the meditation.
The Christmas season is upon us. The leaves have mostly fallen from the trees, and the cool weather has set in. We are all experiencing different kinds of emotions depending on what is going on in our lives. Some of our feelings are good, and some are difficult to process. Wherever you find yourself today, take this time to look inward and center yourself. Being centered means being well-balanced and at peace.
Reflect
Gently close your eyes.
What do you feel?
What do you hear?
What do you smell?
What do you taste?
You are becoming more aware of yourself in this present moment.
Isaiah 26;3
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Release
What is coming to your mind?
Is the thought true or false?
Is the thought helpful or unhelpful?
Is the thought healthy
or unhealthy?
Acknowledge any negative thoughts and then let them go as you are grounding yourself.
Slowly open your eyes.
How are you feeling now? Are you more at ease now than when you begin this meditation?
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7

In addition, I would love for you to listen to another one of my meditations, How To Rest In Busy Seasons.
Prayer
Lastly, let’s end with a prayer. Lord, thank you for today. Thank you for the opportunity to look inward. We are in a busy season and full of different emotions. Let us rest in you. Remind us of your mercy and amazing grace to us in Jesus. Please keep us safe and well. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Thank you for stopping by!
